As Part of our 'Top Things To Do In London 2019' we visited the very first wine spa in the UK, Ella Di Rocco, situated on the Fulham Road in Chelsea. There are many different types of treatments you can have here ranging from the wine baths (which includes 2 whole bottles of red wine) to a full body massage.

When we arrived on the day we were very impressed, such a clean organic look, whilst still maintaining that 'boutique' feel. We were then warmly greeted and offered a beverage. After a short chat we were taken downstairs to where the treatments take place. We were taken straight to the spa and were asked to change, being provided with one use underwear. Once changed the treatment started with a lemon, rose petal and mint foot spa whilst they talked us through what would happen during our 90 minute session. After this we were then asked to lye down on the massage table so they could cover our skin in the Merlot Body Scrub (To relax, detoxify and cleanse your skin, our Merlot Body Scrub is a wonderful treatment. Indulge your senses with a scrub containing red vine leaves and a 50/50 blend of high quality Sangiovese and Merlot grapes from the Goretti Vineyard in Italy. The Merlot Body scrub will invigorate you prior to the multi-sensory bath experience, leaving your skin feeling youthful and vibrant.)

Once we were covered we were then taken to the wine bath tubs 'Sangiovese Bath', (Enhance your feeling of health and wellbeing with the unique conditioning grape extract of the Sangiovese Bath. Soak your stresses away in a tub filled with bubbling hot water, Sangiovese, Merlot and Cilegiolo wine with a concentrate of virgin grape juice. Rich in antioxidants, the Sangiovese Bath has a slimming, illuminating and de-stressing effect, and will leave your skin feeling revitalised.)

After spending 10 to 15 minutes in the tub relaxing with a glass of wine we got out, had a refreshing shower, then headed back to our massage tables for our full body massage. They took the time to ask if there was anywhere in particular you'd like them to focus on, for me it was my shoulders and neck. They did a wonderful job and couldn't have been more professional. After around about a 30 minute massage the session was over, we got dressed and headed back up stairs for some herbals teas.

Overall this was an incredible experience and is HINTON Recommended. Whether you are in need of a spa break or your looking for the perfect gift Ella Di Rocco should definitely be an option you consider and is a must visit in London in 2019.
