London’s culinary calendar has its share of notable dates, but few celebrate sophistication quite like National Caviar Day. This 18th July, one of the capital’s most distinguished dining institutions — The Mayfair Chippy — is offering an experience worthy of the occasion, unveiling its own branded caviar in partnership with the esteemed Caviar House & Prunier.

Known for elevating British classics with quiet confidence, The Mayfair Chippy now introduces a refined new offering that blends heritage with luxury. Available exclusively at the Mayfair flagship and the newly launched Knightsbridge location, the house-branded caviar is a statement of intent — one that honours craftsmanship, provenance, and culinary elegance.
The menu highlights are deliberately considered. A 15g tin of caviar (£55) is served with warm mini sourdough crumpets, Kentish egg, sour cream, red onion and chives — a composition of quintessentially British ingredients, executed with precision. For purists, the caviar is also available as a standalone serve (£45), while those seeking to enrich their dish can opt for a 5g caviar upgrade (£15), offering a subtle yet indulgent touch to any plate.

This collaboration is more than a moment — it’s a celebration of British refinement. The Mayfair Chippy continues to bridge the gap between familiarity and finesse, presenting the nation’s most iconic fare with the sophistication it so often deserves.
Alongside the caviar unveiling, The Mayfair Chippy Knightsbridge introduces its 7 Before 7 experience — a curated after-hours offering that reflects the venue’s sense of balance between luxury and accessibility. Running from 4pm to 7pm daily, the experience features a selection of seven expertly crafted drinks, each priced at £7. Standouts include the Yorkshire Rhubarb Gin Sour made with Warners Rhubarb Gin, a classic Cosmopolitan, and the Mayfair Margarita — an elevated blend of Ocho Blanco Tequila, chilli, lime, agave, salt and English sparkling wine.
For those with an eye for detail and a taste for the exceptional, additional offerings include £1 oysters with any 7 Before 7 order, £5 oysters with a caviar topping, and £10 caviar bumps served perfectly chilled.
