Fragrance has become one of the most dynamic forces within the beauty industry, evolving far beyond its traditional place on the dressing table. Increasingly, scent sits at the intersection of identity, creativity and cultural storytelling. This March, London steps further into that conversation as National Fragrance Week 2026 unveils its first dedicated Fragrance Hub in the heart of the capital.
Taking place on 18–19 March, the initiative has been created by The Fragrance Foundation UK, the industry body widely recognised as the leading voice championing fragrance as both craft and culture.

The new Central London Fragrance Hub will act as a meeting point for the industry’s most influential voices, bringing together brands, retailers, creators and innovators to examine the forces shaping the next era of scent. Over two days, discussions will explore everything from AI-driven fragrance discovery and digital influence to ingredient innovation, sustainability and the shifting behaviours of modern fragrance consumers.
The launch arrives during a period of exceptional growth for the category. While the global beauty market is projected to expand steadily over the coming years, fragrance continues to outperform many adjacent sectors. Much of this momentum is being driven by a deeper cultural connection to scent. Consumers increasingly view fragrance not simply as a finishing touch, but as a personal statement and a form of emotional expression.
In the UK, a younger generation is helping drive this transformation. Gen Z has emerged as the fastest-growing demographic within the beauty sector, with sales among under-24 consumers rising significantly year on year. Their engagement reflects a more narrative-led relationship with scent, where fragrance becomes part of personal identity and cultural discovery.
At the centre of the week’s programme will be the unveiling of the 2026 Next Gen cohort, an accelerator initiative developed in partnership with Growth Studio. Designed to support emerging fragrance founders and creative talent, the programme will see new brands present their concepts to an audience of retail buyers, media and industry leaders. For many attending, it will offer an early look at the ideas and olfactory storytelling likely to shape the future of the category.
For Vanita Sabnani Dalamal, the Fragrance Hub represents a significant step forward for the industry’s presence in the UK. By bringing together innovation, craftsmanship and emerging talent under one roof, the event reinforces the country’s growing role within the global fragrance landscape.
Beyond the conversations and presentations, National Fragrance Week continues to position the UK as a centre for fragrance creativity. Through initiatives that combine education, discovery and industry collaboration, the week highlights the artistry behind scent while giving both professionals and consumers insight into how the sector is evolving.
As the fragrance category continues to grow in cultural and commercial influence, London’s new Fragrance Hub signals a clear message: scent is no longer simply a product. It is one of the most expressive and innovative forms within modern beauty.
