When it comes to burgers, Britain has moved beyond the realm of the ordinary. National Burger Day (21st August) has become more than a date on the calendar; it’s a chance for chefs and culinary upstarts to show just how inventive they can be with two buns and a patty. This year, the spotlight falls on Marble Arch, where street-food inspired favourite ZULA is teaming up with Dr Sting’s Hot Honey for a collaboration that promises both bite and finesse.

The Thai Honey Burger is ZULA’s one-off ode to heat, flavour, and indulgence. Think of it as a meeting point between Bangkok’s street-side zest and London’s taste for rich, layered indulgence. A specially crafted sauce weaves together ginger, coriander, and lime mayonnaise, before being laced with the sweet, fiery sting of Dr Sting’s celebrated hot honey — a creation from Chef Ben Lippett’s hive-to-kitchen alchemy.
The sauce alone would turn heads, but ZULA have gone further. At its heart sits a juicy, flame-kissed patty, draped with molten cheese, encased in the restaurant’s signature freshly baked brioche bun. It’s a burger that isn’t trying to shout louder than its rivals — it simply has more to say.
Priced at £10.50, the Thai Honey Burger is available exclusively from 12pm – 5pm, 21st–31st August. It’s fleeting, it’s fiery, and it’s very much one for those who like their burgers with character.
As London braces for another round of burger bravado this National Burger Day, ZULA and Dr Sting’s have quietly set the bar: proof that when heat meets honey, the result is nothing short of magnetic.
