Celebrate Diwali in style with Michelin star Gymkhana, Trishna & Brigadiers

In celebration of Diwali, Ambassador General Store will bring a taste of authentic Michelin Star Indian cuisine into your home. The retail platform offers a one-stop shop for Michelin Star restaurant prepared DIY menus, classic ready-to-eat dishes and beverages delivered straight to the home. This year, those celebrating Diwali will be able to order from a selection of brand-new cook-at-home feasts and Gymkhana classics from the a la carté menu.


Diwali at-home-kits will include the Lamb Raan Feast (£140, serves 4) featuring a whole lamb leg with a striking gold leaf garnish, a Tandoori Chicken Feast (£100, serves 2) both served with all the trimmings and a Vegetarian Feast (£100, serves 2) crowned with a magnificent Mushroom Pilau. Each feast will come with a celebratory chocolate box and Gulab Jamun with silver leaf to mark the occasion. Consumers will also be able to order an array of Gymkhana classics to celebrate, including Gymkhana’s famous Butter Chicken, Tandoori Masala Lamb Chops and Dal Maharani from the a la carté selection.

Orders for Diwali need to be made by midday on Sunday 31st October and will be delivered nationwide on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th November.


Brigadiers will be celebrating the Festival of Lights with a roaring vintage Bollywood party in the name of South Asia’s sweetheart Jimmy from the famous Bollywood ‘Disco Dancer’. Running from Monday 1st November - Saturday 6th November, the restaurant will feature a sparkling line up of limited-edition food, drinks and entertainment which will set the scene for the week. Executive Chef Shanti Bhushan has created the ultimate Diwali Feasts (vegetarian feast available) including the Maharaja Chicken Biryani as the centerpiece served with Calcutta Anda Curry, Spinach Burrani Raita and Daal Champara. The five-course menu will also feature Brigadier's classics such Smoked Pumpin Thepla, BBQ Butter Chicken Wings, Duck Samosa Chaat and Amritsari Fried Fish Paos alongside a Malai Brulee and Petit Fours to finish. Guests will be welcomed to try an Old Fashioned cocktail from Paul John whisky’s limited-edition menu to accompany the feast experience.

Brigadier's wrap-around terrace will be flooded with lanterns this year to honour the Festival of Lights. What’s more, guests dining on Thursday 4th November will enjoy a resident DJ playing Bollywood classics to set the backdrop to a musical night to remember and will leave with a gift to take home.

To celebrate Diwali during the week 1st – 6th November, Londoners can pre-order the full Diwali Feast for a piping hot delivery to their door on the 4th November only within an 8-mile radius of their Bank location. Alternatively, throughout the week customers are welcome to order via Deliveroo or pick up via click-and-collect for the rest of the week.


Gymkhana will be opening their doors to celebrate Diwali for the first time since 2018. From Monday 1st November - Sunday 7th November, Gymkhana will serve a limited-edition Diwali Tasting Menu (vegetarian feast available) created by Executive Chef Sid Ajuha. The six-course tasting menu will feature dishes such as Beetroot Raj Kachori, Tamarina, Sev alongside Gymkhana's signatures, Kid Goat Methi Keema, Salli, Pao and Muntjac Biryani, Pomegranate & Mint Raita, rounded off with a chocolate box and a giftbag to take home. Guests can choose to pair the feasting menu with a Paul John Old Fashioned cocktail or wine selection.

From Monday 1st November - Sunday 7th November, Trishna will be lit up for the Diwali Festival with a decadent week of feasting and live music from sitar-player, Baluji Shrivastav. Executive Head Chef Sajeev and his team have created a six-course Celebratory Feast (vegetarian feast available), with highlights including Raj Kachori Chaat, Tandoori Soya Chops, Mallard Chutney Seekh and Dorset Brown Crab. Both feast menus will be complemented by Paul John Old Fashioned cocktail menu or wine selection.

Those that are ordering within an 8-mile radius of the Marylebone location can also opt to have the full Diwali Feast delivered piping hot and ready to be eaten to their door or, alternatively, drop in and pick up via click-and-collect.
