Three must-have treats to enjoy this Christmas... and they are free-from!

Are you vegan but craving a delicious mince pie or perhaps gluten and milk-free, struggling to get your hands on a delicious slice of cake. Look no further, as British bakers lift the lid on this year's three supermarket must-buys for those on a 'free from' diet this Christmas.

Snuggle up this winter with Cumbrian free-from bakery ‘We Love Cake’ as it launches its hyper-indulgent and thrillingly nostalgic range in Morrison’s. The two irresistible gluten-free cakes include a ‘Rip-Roaring Raspberry Ripple’ and a ‘Totally Toffee Sticky Toffee’, that nods to a decadent sticky toffee pudding.

Great for sharing as you countdown to Christmas; these multi-pack cakes include four delicious slices, each bite transporting you back to your much-loved childhood flavours.

In uncertain times many people are looking for foods that are homely and comforting. Rip-Roaring Raspberry Ripple and Totally Toffee Sticky Toffee are just that – your favourites reimagined. The perfect sweet treat for the whole family, young and old.

Made on the edge of the Lake District, Cumbria; these gluten, wheat and milk free cakes are baked in small batches by skilled bakers and finished by hand. The slices are packaged in two twin-packs to maintain freshness. Rip Roaring Raspberry Ripple and Totally Toffee will be available in select Morrison’s stores.

We Love Cake has also launched its range of delicious mince pies in Booths supermarkets and Iceland with a fresh new look.

There’s an added bonus which comes in handy at Christmas when some family and friends may have intolerances or individual lifestyle choices – these can be enjoyed by vegans and those who follow a diet excluding gluten, wheat and milk. So there is no excuse to miss out on this classic festive treat, available for just £2 in both stores.

We Love Cake are registered with Coeliac UK and declared as suitable for those with coeliac disease.

And finally, if you're looking for indulgent flavours that are vegan friendly then look no further than Bells and Whistles. The cake brand has launched a two slice pack of its three most popular flavours in ASDA (I mean, who said anything about sharing?).

Why not reach for a Ginger and Apricot slice? Or a Berry and Cashew. Personally, it’s all about the Nut Truffle. Each flavour is under 120 calories per slice

The bars are plant based, gluten, wheat and milk free treats, and are aimed at changing the way the world sees free-from and making it much more accessible for people to have a sweet treat on the go. Available for £1.25 but look out for offers. The bars will also be available in Sainsbury’s from January.
