What’s the Tea... Fancy Tea Fit For A Queen?
For a playful and fabulously-fun afternoon tea experience in the heart of Soho, The Perception at W London is excited to launch its brand spanking new and glitter-filled ‘What’s The Tea?’ inspired by the decadent world of drag. The bold offering will be available to devour daily whilst a monthly drag extravaganza featuring the glamorous Globe Girls will start on Sunday 19th May.

Presented in a vibrant pink cosmetics case, ‘What’s The Tea?’ will invite guests to unpack and explore its different tiers with the option to start with runway-ready sandwiches or tuck in to the selection of edible cosmetics and brightly-bejewelled cakes.
On the first shelf, afternoon-tea goers will discover the Red-Lip Sync, a chocolate flavoured sponge with vanilla icing, topped with ruby sparkle and rose essence pipette along with a magical pot of Ageless Queen, made from a cinnamon & lemon custard crème with a violet aroma sugar pot to sprinkle some magic on top. On the opposite side, guests can delve into two lip-smacking Glitter Balls; sparkling spheres of creamy white chocolate-coated lemon & blueberry cake whilst a playful Karamel Kiss lip gloss made from divine salted-caramel can be plastered on for a cheeky and edible kiss.
On the second tier, guests can enjoy freshly-made Mini Sandwiches baked naturally with turmeric, sumac and chlorophyll and filled with soft cheese & smoked salmon, roast beef & horseradish cream and egg & mayo mustard. On the final layer beneath all that jazz, warm fluffy Scones with Clotted Night Cream teamed with fruity Lip Jam await alongside the show-stopping Bronze Up Mousse - an indulgent Oreo mousse topped with bronzed chocolate pearls.
Guests looking to amplify their experience are invited to join the dazzling Globe Girls from Sunday 19th May as part of The Perception’s new monthly series of AfternoonTease shows. Professional West End stars, The Globe Girls will be bringing the glitz and glamour to Soho’s best drag party in town. As the UK’s longest running drag collective the performance promises to provide the perfect mix of sophisticated humour and glamour.
What’s The Tea? Will be served daily (excluding Saturday’s) in The Perception from 1PM-5PM for £39 per person or alternatively for £44 with a glass of Prosecco and £49 per person with the marvellous KiKi cocktail.
Tickets for the Afternoon Tease series will be available for £55 per person and will include an afternoon tea with a glass of Prosecco and entry to the show.
Upcoming Afternoon Tease: Sunday 21st July
