World Record Walkies! Bruce’s Attempts World Record Dog Walk
Award-winning doggy day care Bruce’s has attempted to break the world record of most dogs walked at once (currently set at 36)
The attempt was held in celebration of National Walk Your Dog Week (1st - 7th October)
In celebration of National Walk Your Dog Week, which runs from 1st – 7th October, leading UK doggy day care Bruce’s attempted a world record-breaking dog walk, with founder Bruce Casalis taking the lead (literally) and keeping pace with an incredible 37 pooches simultaneously.
The attempt was completed at the day care’s Cobham centre using carefully selected dogs for their easy-going temperament and a large contingent of Bruce’s staff on hand to help oversee. This allowed for a safe and controlled environment for the activity, with the beautiful Surrey countryside offering a picturesque backdrop for the momentous occasion.
The idea for Bruce’s Doggy Day Care came back in 2008 when Bruce began a dog walking service on Clapham Common and had a dream of creating an idyllic countryside paradise where he could bring his dogs to enjoy total freedom. The world record breaking dog walk attempt is therefore a fitting celebration of the roots of the business.
Bruce’s is now the leading doggy day care brand in the UK, with 8 sites across the South of England. Free to spend their time enjoying off leash fun in large secure fields, or relaxing indoors, and interacting with dogs of the same or similar size and temperament, there’s no better place for a dog to be.
Bruce’s offers an unrivalled enrichment programme for their dogs, aligning with significant calendar and cultural moments, and sends each dog’s parents a weekly photo to showcase the exciting activities their pooch has been getting up to.
Bruce Casalis, CEO and Founder explains; “We like to do things a little differently at Bruce’s, and we thought what better way to celebrate National Walk Your Dog Week than attempt the world record! We know it can be challenging for owners to make time to give their furry family members the exercise, enrichment and socialisation they’d like, which is where we can be on hand to help!
Dog welfare is always at the top of our priority list, so this photoshoot was carried out after great lengths of planning and with a dedicated team of our doggy day care professionals supervising to ensure all tails were wagging.”
Bruce’s are dedicated to unleashing happiness and enriching the lives of dogs and their families. They go beyond ‘woof’ to a deep understanding of what makes each tail wag and want to make sure that every dog has the best day ever, every day at day care.
