There are few things more quintessentially London than an evening at Langan’s Brasserie. This season, the Mayfair institution brings back one of its most celebrated experiences — an exclusive seafood dinner in partnership with Wright Brothers. For one night only, on Wednesday 15 October 2025, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, guests will be treated to a feast that captures the very essence of refined coastal dining, all within the glamour of Langan’s.

Priced at £170 per person, the evening begins in true Langan’s style — with martinis and oysters at Upstairs at Langan’s, the restaurant’s elegant members’ club suite. The signature welcome, ‘Martini in a Shell’, blends Aberturret Gin, Oyster Shell Vermouth, Nocellara Olive Brine and Samphire, setting the tone for an evening of exquisite flavour and understated sophistication.

As the evening unfolds, diners are invited to savour a bespoke seafood menu curated by Executive Head Chef Benjamin Mellor and complemented by wines meticulously chosen by Head Sommelier Yann Prigent. Every dish is designed for sharing, an ode to conviviality and culinary craftsmanship, with sides of crisp fries, green salad, aioli, béarnaise, and warm bread and butter completing the spread.

The first course brings an array of cold seafood — Louët-Feisser and native oysters, poached langoustines, winkles, mussels, clams, ceviche and crab — paired with a glass of Sancerre ‘Les Calcaires’ Lucien Crochet 2022. Each bite feels like a tribute to the ocean itself, fresh and delicately layered in taste.

The main course continues the celebration of the sea, with sharing dishes that include moules marinières, lobster thermidor, green pepper and ginger squid, and seared scallops served with a warm tartare sauce. The pairing of Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Montceau, Marc Colin et Fils 2022 adds the perfect note of elegance.

To close, guests are treated to a daringly decadent finale — white chocolate and caviar, matched with Vouvray Moelleux ‘Cuvée St Martin’ B. Gautier 2009 — a sweet, velvety ending to a night of refined indulgence.

The Wright Brothers founders, Ben Wright and Robin Hancock, will also be in attendance to share a few words, offering an insight into the passion and provenance behind the evening’s ingredients.

With spaces limited, this exclusive event promises to be an unmissable celebration of seafood, craftsmanship and London dining at its finest. For those seeking a night that blends impeccable taste with timeless elegance, Langan’s Brasserie is the only place to be this October.
