Fashion often speaks in moments. Agne Kuzmickaite’s latest collection listens to the whole day.

Titled My Day, the new collaborative release sees the Lithuanian designer step into a quieter but more intimate rhythm, where clothing follows the natural arc of daily life from the first sound of an alarm to the final stillness of night. Created in partnership with a local Lithuanian apparel producer whose expertise spans sleepwear, underwear and loungewear, the collection brings Kuzmickaite’s conceptual world into garments designed to be lived in, not just looked at.

My Day

At the heart of My Day is a simple but thoughtful observation. As the collection took shape, its pieces began to mirror the structure of a single day. Morning, afternoon, evening and rest are all present, not as literal costumes but as emotional states translated into fabric, form and restraint. It is a collection that understands how people actually move through time.

Visually, Kuzmickaite strips things back. A black and white palette dominates, allowing contrast and clarity to do the heavy lifting. Within this minimal framework, her signature butterfly motif appears with intention rather than excess, delicately woven into underwear and sleepwear. These quieter moments feel personal, almost private, a reminder that design does not need an audience to have meaning.

Much of the ready to wear offering is crafted from certified eco friendly artificial leather, chosen for its lightness and comfort as much as its responsible credentials. The material allows the silhouettes to hold presence without weight, reinforcing the idea that impact and ease can exist side by side.

Sound plays an unexpected role in revealing the collection’s concept. The presentation was accompanied by a bespoke soundtrack that begins with the universal jolt of a morning alarm before unfolding into a composition built from familiar domestic noises. It is subtle, almost subconscious, but deeply effective. The clothes are not just worn through the day. They sound like it too.

My Day

Artistically, My Day continues several of Kuzmickaite’s long running explorations. Ribbons return as a central material, this time printed with her name and butterfly emblem. Woven together, they become something monumental, transformed into sculptural, dress like forms that sit between fashion and installation. These pieces feel ceremonial, elevating everyday materials into something quietly dramatic.

There are also nods to heritage. Accessories inspired by traditional folk coronets build on themes from previous collections, grounding the work in cultural memory while keeping it firmly contemporary. They add symbolism without nostalgia, functioning as modern artefacts rather than historical references.

My Day

What makes My Day compelling is not any single garment, but the way the collection understands life as a series of transitions. It moves effortlessly between the functional and the expressive, between softness and structure, between privacy and presence.

In a fashion landscape that often chases spectacle, Agne Kuzmickaite chooses something more considered. My Day is not about dressing for an occasion. It is about dressing for existence itself, one moment at a time.
