An Evening of Romance: Valentine’s Day at Motcombs St John’s Wood

This Valentine’s, Motcombs, the home-away-from-home restaurant in the bustling neighbourhood of St John’s Wood, invites couples to savour an evening of romance with season-inspired dishes and expertly crafted cocktails. Featuring a specially designed three-course menu by Head Chef Rafal Novak, Motcombs’ warm and elegant ambiance provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable celebration of love.

From 13th to 15th February, the specially curated Valentine’s Tasting Menu (£65pp) promises an unforgettable culinary experience. From sumptuous starters to decadent desserts, every dish has been carefully curated to set the stage for an unforgettable evening. Guests will begin their evening with a Lobster Bisque Amuse Bouche, followed by a choice of three options per course. Menu highlights include King Prawns in Kataifi Pastry, Duck Breast with Fig Brûlée and Sweet Potato Gnocchi, and Dulce de Leche Cheesecake with Clotted Cream.


To complement the dishes, the expert team of mixologists will be on hand to shake up the restaurant's signature cocktails. Opt for the Kir Royale with champagne and crème de cassis, or a Lychee Martini with vodka, lychee juice and rose syrup. Additionally, the in-house sommelier will be on hand to recommend the perfect wine pairings to complement the menu. 


To further enhance the evening, Motcombs has partnered with local florist Blossom Atelier to adorn the restaurant windows with exquisite floral displays, whilst a live band will perform throughout dinner, creating an unforgettable soundtrack to guests Valentine’s celebration.
