As London edges closer to the festive season, Chucs is offering something far more compelling than the usual Christmas dining reset. This winter, the Italian inspired institution invites guests to step away from the city and into a world shaped by alpine elegance, sensory indulgence and understated luxury.

Chucs

Launching from 19 November through to the end of December, Chucs unveils its Christmas in the Alps dining experience in partnership with British fragrance house AUGUST&PIERS and the cult favourite Monkey 47. The result is a seasonal takeover that feels deliberate, immersive and quietly confident.

Across its Mayfair, South Kensington and Belgravia locations, Chucs transforms into a series of refined winter retreats. Inspired by the charm and glamour of Chamonix, Courchevel and Cortina d’Ampezzo, the interiors balance warmth and sophistication, with cosy textures and a mood that feels indulgent without excess. It is the kind of setting designed for lingering lunches, unhurried dinners and evenings that stretch longer than planned.

What sets this collaboration apart is its attention to atmosphere. For the first time, AUGUST&PIERS introduces its CLAUS collection, created exclusively for the season. The fragrance moves through each restaurant with quiet authority, layering fresh pine needle with rich leather, oud and warming cinnamon. It is subtle but memorable, turning scent into an essential part of the dining experience rather than an afterthought.

The cocktail menu mirrors this sensory approach. Developed with Monkey 47, each drink takes inspiration from place, season and scent. The Riviera Negroni offers a bright aromatic take on a classic, while the Paloma all’Arrabbiata delivers a bold savoury edge with a distinctly southern Italian attitude. The White Godfather leans into richness and warmth, while Sorgente remains crisp, herbal and refined. At the centre sits the CLAUS cocktail itself, blending gin with pine, spice and citrus for a festive serve that feels considered rather than theatrical.

On the food front, Chucs embraces alpine comfort with confidence. Seasonal specials focus on fondue and winter warming dishes, created in partnership with iconic British cheesemaker Paxton and Whitfield. Designed for sharing, the Classic Cheese Fondue is unapologetically indulgent, arriving with bread, saucisson, cornichons and green salad, the kind of dish that encourages conversation and second glasses.

For those looking to extend the experience beyond the table, the CLAUS collection is also available to purchase, with candles, interior scents and diffusers offering a way to take the season home. It is a natural extension of the collaboration and a reminder that luxury often lies in the details we carry with us.

Chucs

This winter, Chucs is not simply decorating for Christmas. It is crafting an escape. One rooted in scent, taste and atmosphere, and delivered with the quiet assurance of a brand that understands how modern luxury should feel.

Christmas in the Alps runs from 19 November to 31 December at Chucs restaurants and cafe in Mayfair, South Kensington and Belgravia.
