Hithe + Seek Launches New Afternoon Tea Served with a front-row seat overlooking The River Thames

Hithe + Seek, renowned for its picturesque views and intimate settings, has launched a sophisticated new afternoon tea menu. The afternoon tea reflects the Hithe + Seek sequence of service served on small plates with a selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes.


Providing a unique backdrop and a not-so-traditional take on your afternoon tea booking, the new menu encompasses an array of small dishes which can be enjoyed whilst taking in the unobstructed views of Shakespeare’s Globe and the Tate Modern. Head Chef Fabio De Paolis, who oversees the culinary direction at Hithe + Seek as well as The Westin London City - has created an irresistible menu, using the best produce along with his inspiration gained from cuisines all around the world.

Throughout choose from a selection of Finger Sandwiches, Scones and Pastries. Delicate finger sandwiches include Dorset beef with horseradish crème fraiche with a charcoal bun. Burford egg and black truffle served on fresh rolled brown bread. Moving onto the delectable freshly baked plain and raisins scones served with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam. And finally, their showstopping pastries, indulge as you relax within the intimate setting with menu highlights including their sophisticated multi-layer honey cake alongside their premium JING Tea matcha cake. If this was not enough, those with a serious sweet tooth can choose from a selection of classic Macarons flavours such as Mango and Chocolate. In addition to the mouth-watering Nutella and berry tart available to enjoy.

Hithe + Seek’s new afternoon tea is served daily, 1pm to 5pm, priced at £45pp or £60pp with a glass of Taittinger Champagne. Vegan and vegetarian afternoon tea menus are also available to cater for dietaries.
