Luna Springs Birmingham reopens with 3000 capacity, fresh new look

...and shows from Fat Tony, Gok Wan.

Birmingham, get ready, because the new look Luna Springs is ready and waiting to entertain you on a whole new scale. Following a series of refurbishments and upgrades, the popular venue on Lower Trinity Street has a whole host of new offerings from yoga, karaoke, male strip show and West End-themed bottomless brunches to open-air film screenings via mouth-watering street food with headliners such as Woody Cook, Gok Wan, Fat Tony and 24-Hour Garage Girls. All events can be booked at www.lunasprings.co.uk.

Luna Springs is Birmingham’s largest outdoor events and music space. It encompasses three private arches and two main bar areas and now boasts an updated capacity of 3000, almost double the 1800 maximum from last year. Also since last summer, the space has added a brand new seven - yes, seven meter LED screen for all sports showings as well as a new world class JBL sound system.

The famous pergola has been increased to double its original size enabling twice as many people to take shelter from the weather. As if that wasn't enough, additional and even more explosive production has been added including confetti cannons and CO2 machines for a super sensory experience each and every time. All this means that the events at Luna Springs from the bottomless bunches to the Neon Raves and Cosmic Disco sessions are supersized, brain-boggling affairs with extravagant production that will get your adrenaline pumping and leave you in awe.

The food offerings have also been moved in-house and now include two new street-food containers. One hosts Wingmans and will serve up deliciously crispy chicken wings slathered in finger-lickin' sauces and the other is Slice Up Your Life, a new pizza offering with thin-crust pizzas, stone-baked to perfection on-site, all alongside the famous Happy Patty joint which will continue to serve up juicy burgers.

The all-new event offerings for 2022 are expansive indeed and include delights such as Brunchaoke, the ultimate and craziest sing-along brunch and the outrageous Disco Divas Drag Brunch with larger than life host Fat Butcher, both of which run each and every Saturday.

Newly launching on Saturday April 9th then on Sunday 1st May, Saturday 28th May and Saturday 25th June is Cosmic Disco, an open-air disco extravaganza fusing dance music with disco vocals from the UK and Birmingham’s finest artists including DJs, disco vocalists, drag queens and gogo dancers and plenty of debauchery. The first three special guests are Norman Cook’s son Woody Cook, Gok Wan and Fat Tony.

Monthly Sundays throughout summer will offer the chance to enjoy a series of dog-themed movies in the great outdoors, with pups welcome at the outdoor cinema for Pawsecco, pupcorn as well as cocktails for the humans. Films include Beethoven, Turner & Hooch and 101 Dalmatians.

Easter Bank Holiday on April 17th is a Thai-style Full Moon Party with an authentic bucket cocktail, Thai street-food vendors, tonnes of UV paint, a 10 metre UV octopus, fire artists and dancers who’ll be roaming the springs with 24-Hour Garage Girls providing the killer soundtrack.

Next to all this, there is also Moon Light Cinema on a huge HD screen every Thursday and Sunday, Monthly themed Friday nights with the likes of ABBA Revival and Pure Queen, a Brunch in the Buff that will give Magic Mike a run for his money for all the single ladies, a West End Bottomless Brunch with leading stars from London's West End and a Disco Yoga Brunch. Last but definitely not least the famous mass-karaoke madness that is Massaoke involving a giant screen, a six-piece band with plenty of stage effects and confetti explosions and thousands of happy guests.

However you get your thrills, there is no better place to get them than Birmingham's new look Luna Springs. All events can be booked at; www.lunasprings.co.uk.
