In a city where style is currency and connections are everything, Liv Kirby is building something rarer: trust. As the founder of Kirby PR, she’s become a vital force behind some of the capital’s most exciting independent brands—fuelled by instinct, integrity, and a healthy obsession with Bloody Marys. From Chelsea’s leafy corners to the polished chaos of fashion week, Kirby moves with the ease of someone who knows exactly where she belongs.

She’s spent over a decade in the PR world, but don’t mistake her for part of the old guard. With Kirby PR, she’s torn up the rulebook—ditching the corporate gloss for something more personal, more fearless, and frankly, more fun. Featuring on Hinton Magazine's Summer Cover, we sat down with Liv to talk about the bold decision to go solo, the thrill of championing underdogs, and the secret ingredient to staying grounded in the city that never stops moving.
Liv, you’ve made your mark in Chelsea’s vibrant scene with Kirby PR. What’s the one moment—on King’s Road or beyond—that made you realise you were building something extraordinary, and how does it fuel your ambition today?
Hey! Oh thank you, that's really lovely to hear! I've been in the PR industry for over 10 years now, and it's certainly been a wild ride! I would have to say having the pleasure of seeing start up and small businesses grow and have the opportunities to be seen in leading publications with the larger famous brands we all love and know.
Ditching the corporate PR world to launch Kirby PR was a bold leap. What sparked that decision, and what’s the most unexpected thrill of being your own boss that keeps you hooked?
Oh there's never a dull moment, and I love it! It all was based down to me simply being fed up with watching larger and leading PR firms talking small brands for a ride and giving then no chances, no growth and frustratingly no press ! I had to stand up and create something that was going to put a stop to that, and that's how Kirby PR was born.

You’re as comfortable sipping Bloody Mary's at Aragon House in Parson Green as you are tucking into a fresh croissant at 21 Grams. How do you balance the glitz of your work in fashion and cosmetics with your love for a proper pub, and what’s one quirky habit that keeps you grounded?
Haha oh wow I really love a Bloody Mary, I won't lie! Why are they are so good!! Seriously when your ever in Fulham you must go to Aragon House for one...or five. I'm fortunate to work from home or like you said even my local cafe 21 Grams. I'm much happier with the similar things in life nowadays, it's trainers over heels for me.....for now !
Born in Hong Kong and shaped by boarding school in the UK, your early years were quite the journey. What’s a vivid memory from that time that still influences how you tackle challenges or chase your dreams?
Gosh I have many many fantastic memories and of course some hard lessons to learn and experience on the way. What I've learnt ? ...bullies never win.

You’ve a knack for spotting Chelsea’s hidden gems, like Mezcalito’s Tulum-like vibe. If you could create your own secret spot in the city, what would it feel like, and what’s the one detail that would make it unmistakably ‘Liv’?
Oh it would 100% be a dog cafe! Without a doubt! Cocktails, coffees and dogs! It would be madness, can you imagine!
Every tastemaker has their gripes. What’s one trend in the PR, fashion, or lifestyle world that you’d love to see vanish from London, and how do you dodge it to keep your clients thriving?
Gosh it's a tricky one but the curse of doom strolling on social media. I try every day to have an hour (I know that doesn't sound like a lot) or so off my phone just to let my mind reset and just feel free!

You’ve said the sky’s the limit for Kirby PR. Paint us a picture of your boldest vision for the future—what legacy do you want to etch into London’s cultural landscape, and how will you make it happen?
It really is! My legacy would be to support your locals and support small businesses! They need us all more now than never! So put down that Starbucks and head to your local cafe down the road, and I promise the quality and love they put into it is always worth it!
With the non stop hustle and grind of London, how do you maintain your image? what's your go to beauty and treatments spots?
LOVE this question ! Ok, so I religiously start my mornings with a HIRO hydration tablet. For my hair, I swear by Aqua Cleanse haircare range. Facials and "tweakments" are a must for me, I swear my Naomi Riby her clinic in Chelsea is called Aesthetics by Naomi Riby, she's literally magic !!

Chelsea’s your home, and King’s Road is your playground. If your life here were a cocktail, what would it be?
I'd be a Bloody Mary....of course ;)
Liv Kirby isn’t just playing the game—she’s changing it. With a voice that cuts through the noise and a vision built on authenticity, her approach to PR feels more like a calling than a career move. Whether she’s spotlighting a start-up or advocating for Chelsea’s best-kept secrets, she does it with style, heart, and a refreshing lack of pretence.
As the sun shines on SW London this summer, Kirby’s message rings loud and clear: support your locals, lift others up, and always make time for a good cocktail. Whatever’s next for Liv and Kirby PR, one thing’s certain—London’s watching, and so are we.
