Scott's light up Mayfair with a 'Starstruck' Christmas
Scott’s brings a touch of festive sparkle into the heart of Mayfair in partnership with Perrier-Jouët Champagne.
This winter, Scott’s Mayfair has collaborated with the renowned Champagne House, Perrier-Jouët to celebrate the festive season in a truly magical way. On Thursday, 18 November, its latest campaign, A ‘Starstruck’ Christmas will be unveiled, featuring a show-stopping shooting star installation created by Event Imagineer Tony Marklew, Perrier-Jouët cocktails and a limited-edition seasonal dessert topped with Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut Champagne, all available until the end of January 2022.
Perrier-Jouët was famously founded under a lucky star in 1811 when the skies were set alight by a spectacular comet, consisting of a ball of white light and twin tails that shimmered gold. Scott’s Mayfair pays homage to the unique event by recreating a glistening star that spans across the restaurant’s façade. On arrival, guests will be met by an eye capturing, vintage moon and cloudscape adorned with shooting stars. The install will also feature a trail of ‘stardust’ made up of small gold discs and stars, whilst a stardust trail will lead guests into the restaurant where they will be able to enjoy delectable festive dishes and drinks into the new year.
A ‘Starstruck’ Christmas will also present a special menu alongside the prestige Perrier-Jouët, offering some of Scott’s best-loved dishes expertly paired with carefully selected pours. Diners can summon the spirit of festivity by choosing from a selection of premium oysters, such as Morecambe Bay (ENG) and Galway Bay Rocks (IRL) paired with a glass of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut (£20.00 per glass) or Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs NV (£32.00 per glass). Guests can also choose to experience a range of premium caviar served with blinis and crème fraiche, expertly paired with Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 2012 (£55.00 per glass or £330.00 per bottle).
Bespoke cocktails will include The Lucky Star (£40.00), Belle Époque 2012, Château Monteils Sauternes 2009, Martell XO, orange bitters and The Yuletide (£26.00) created with Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé NV, Domaine Dupont VSOP Calvados, Cointreau, Cherry Heering, orange bitters.
Alongside the winter menu, Scott’s will also offer two limited-edition desserts; the Twinkle Sorbet Dessert (£16.00), a lovingly made lemon, elderflower and vodka sorbet served with a lemon crisp and topped with gold leaf and Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut Champagne, and The Starstruck (£12.50) featuring a chocolate sponge base layer with dark chocolate and milk chocolate mousse, hazelnut praline, chopped hazelnuts, topped with golden stars.
Steve Hutchings, General Manager at Scott’s says, “We are very excited to showcase our beautiful Christmas installation designed by Tony Marklew. The shooting star represents vibrancy this festive season and I hope every guest at Scott’s enjoys the special offering our team have created”.
