Tom Kerridge To Host Al-fresco Fire Feast At Wilderness Reserve

Saturday, 22nd until Sunday, 23rd April


Wilderness Reserve, the stunning collection of restored properties in rural Suffolk is delighted to announce it is set to host a very special all-inclusive one-off culinary weekend experience by friend of the brand and Michelin-starred chef, Tom Kerridge. Kerridge and his team are set to take over the woodland in the surrounding area of the reserve for a private al-fresco fire feast dinner for guests to enjoy.



Hosted from Saturday, 22nd until Sunday, 23rd April, guests are invited to enjoy an experience like no other. Set within the secluded woodland next to the reserve, on Saturday, 22nd April, guests will be guided along a leafy pathway and deep into the forest where they will be greeted by Tom and his team. As the clearing for the event will come into view, guests will see an immaculately laid table set in amongst the forest canopy.


As guests relax with free flowing drinks, Kerridge and his team will prep and cook the menu on a roaring open fire and the smell of roasting meats, fish, and vegetables will fill the forest air. Once seated, guests will indulge in the ultimate fire feast with highlights including BBQ Lamb Belly with Salsa Verde, Spit Roasted Maple Glazed Bacon, Chicken Fat Sourdough, Whipped Liver Parfait, and Cods Roe Crumpet with Burnt Blood Orange. For mains, guests can look forward to Pin Roasted Lamb Shoulder, Black Truffle and Wild Garlic Stuffed Whole Sutton Hoo Chicken, Tandoori Spiced Butterflied Mackerel with Sumac Yoghurt and Pomegranate and Ox Cheek, Jacobs Ladder, Cote De Beouf Brisket, Ox Tail Kebab, Beef Jerky, Crispy Beef Fat.


If that wasn’t enough, those with a sweet tooth will be able to enjoy a selection of desserts including Burnt Basque Cheesecake with Blood Orange, Mint and Pistachio and Beef Suet Sticky Toffee Pudding with Caramelised Cream Toffee Sauce



Following the evening, guests will be escorted back to their accommodation and on Sunday, 23rd April guests can enjoy a wholesome lakeside breakfast and cold water swim from 9:00am. Tom Kerridge’s Fire Feast tickets are priced at £250 per head which includes the Fire Feast followed by a lakeside breakfast and wild swimming. Luxury private accommodation for the weekend is to be booked separately, with houses starting from £4,450 for 8 guests. A very limited number of Fire Feast only tickets are also available upon request.
