Witchmark Distillery Secures Selfridges Listing in Major Retail Milestone

Wiltshire based craft spirits producer Witchmark Distillery has secured a significant new retail listing with Selfridges, marking a major step in the brand’s rapid expansion across the UK.

The multi award winning, B Corp certified distillery will now stock three of its signature spirits at Selfridges stores in London, Birmingham and Manchester Trafford, as well as online via Selfridges.com.

From Fonthill Estate to the National Stage

Founded on the historic Fonthill Estate in Wiltshire, Witchmark operates from a Grade II listed seventeenth century barn. Every spirit is produced entirely from barley grown in the surrounding fields, with water drawn from a chalk filtered aquifer beneath the distillery site.

The brand achieved B Corp certification with a score of 124.4, the highest of any English distillery, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and responsible production.

In store sampling and a dedicated Witchmark display are currently taking place at the Oxford Street flagship, offering customers the opportunity to experience the range first hand.

The Spirits Now Available

The listing includes Witchmark’s London Dry Single Origin English Gin, Black Lime Single Origin English Gin, and its Gold World Drinks Award winning Single Origin English Vodka.

The vodka undergoes multiple distillations to achieve purity and smoothness, while maintaining subtle character from its single origin barley. The result is a creamy textured spirit with delicate sweetness rooted in local provenance.

The Black Lime Gin pairs traditional juniper with tangy sweet black lime, elderberry and yuzu, finished with clove and orris root for depth and warmth. The London Dry Gin offers a more classic profile, balancing pine forward juniper with orange zest, cinnamon, cubeb, bay leaf and coriander for a refined, timeless finish.

A Rapid Rise in English Spirits

Since launching in 2024, Witchmark has secured listings across respected hospitality groups and specialist retailers, including Berry Bros. & Rudd, Hedonism Wines and Bath Rugby, where it serves as Official Spirits Supplier.

The distillery’s growth reflects a broader resurgence in premium English spirits, with provenance, sustainability and craftsmanship driving consumer demand.

Looking ahead, Witchmark is set to release its first single malt whisky in 2027, signalling further ambition from one of England’s fastest growing independent distilleries.

For now, its presence at Selfridges places the brand firmly among the most visible and prestigious names in British retail.
