The worlds of tabletop fantasy and modern collectibles collide this February as EXG Pro confirms the launch of its latest fan driven project. On the second of February, the brand will debut the officially licensed Xanathar Cable Guy and integrated Dice Tower via crowdfunding platform Gamefound, marking a new chapter in how premium gaming collectibles come to life.

Inspired by one of the most infamous villains in Dungeons and Dragons lore, the project brings Xanathar into physical form under official licence from Wizards of the Coast. The result is a piece that balances theatrical presence with everyday utility.

A collectible that works as hard as it looks

Designed as both a display object and a functional desktop companion, the Xanathar Cable Guy holds phones, controllers, remotes and gaming essentials with ease. Hidden within the sculpt is a fully integrated Dice Tower, allowing players to roll straight from Xanathar’s lair without breaking immersion.

The sculpt captures the beholder’s obsessive paranoia and imposing authority in meticulous detail. From the unmistakable central eye to the ever present Sylgar the goldfish, the piece feels deeply rooted in the Dungeons and Dragons universe while remaining playful and accessible.

It is a design that understands its audience. Not just collectors, but players who want their gaming setups to reflect the worlds they spend time in.

Crowdfunding as creative collaboration

The launch marks a deliberate shift for EXG Pro. Known globally for the Cable Guys range, the company has traditionally worked through established retail partners. By choosing crowdfunding, EXG Pro is stepping closer to its community, removing retail constraints and allowing fans to shape the success of the project directly.

Rather than simply raising funds, the campaign positions itself as a shared creative moment. It acknowledges a clear appetite for high quality licensed collectibles that respect the source material and the fandom surrounding it.

Three tiers for devoted adventurers

The Gamefound campaign launches with three exclusive tiers, each created specifically for backers and unavailable through standard retail channels.

The Guild Members tier at eighty pounds includes the Xanathar Cable Guy device holder, a certificate of authenticity, a Dungeons and Dragons Digiplate and a Digiplate phone stand.

Sylgar’s Favourite at one hundred and twenty pounds builds on this with a Sylgar sticker pack, Beholder sticker pack, Beeholder Digiplate, dice set and dice pouch.

For the most devoted fans, Eleven Eyes of Xanathar at one hundred and fifty pounds includes everything from the previous tier, alongside an exclusive Sylgar Digiplate, a Xanathar Mini Cable Guy and a wall art poster.

Each tier is designed to deepen the relationship between fan and franchise, offering layers of collectability that go beyond the core piece.

A signal of what fans want next

More than a single product launch, the Xanathar campaign reflects a broader shift in how licensed collectibles are developed. Fans are no longer passive consumers. They want to be involved early, to support projects that feel authentic, and to invest in objects that are both beautiful and usable.

By placing the campaign directly on Gamefound, EXG Pro is testing a model built on trust and shared enthusiasm. One where quality, detail and respect for the lore come first.

The Xanathar Cable Guy crowdfunding campaign goes live globally on the second of February. For Dungeons and Dragons fans, it is an invitation to bring one of the game’s most iconic villains out of the pages and onto the desk.
