GANNI and Ace & Tate join forces to create an eyewear capsule that celebrates both brand’s

fun, responsible and inclusive ethos.


GANNI, the Copenhagen-based contemporary luxury brand known for its Scandi 2.0 sense of style, and Ace & Tate, the Amsterdam-based eyewear label known for its timeless Dutch design, are excited to announce their collaboration on an exclusive sunglasses collection. This partnership brings together GANNI’s iconic design aesthetic and Ace & Tate’s expertise in quality eyewear, resulting in a collection that is both directional and made with recycled materials.



The GANNI x Ace & Tate sunglasses collection features three eyewear styles that showcase the GANNI logo, catering to different personalities and style preferences. The collection includes a boxy square shape, a slim silhouette, and an oversized wraparound silhouette inspired by the unapologetic Y2K aesthetic. As a little surprise, each pair of sunglasses comes with a custom GANNI x Ace & Tate leopard print pouch made from leftover GANNI materials.


Staying true to both brands’ responsibility ethos, the sunglasses are crafted using Acetate Renew Bio and recycled acetate materials. Recycled acetate is sourced from waste and offcuts from acetate factories, ensuring a circular approach to production. Acetate Renew Bio is one of the latest material innovations in the eyewear industry, replacing fossil-fuel- derived acetic Anhydride with ISCC certified recycled contents obtained via mass balance. Ace & Tate is one of the few brands combining this innovation with bio plasticizers.

To celebrate the launch of the collection, GANNI and Ace & Tate have collaborated with the London-based creative agency PeopleFile to create a set of campaign images shot on people on the streets of both brands’ respective hometowns of Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and their homes away from home, London and New York. The images feature street cast talents only, embodying the inclusive and welcoming approach to fashion embraced by both brands. To further amplify the collaboration the brands will be sharing GANNI Guides co- curated with local GANNI girls to Copenhagen, Amsterdam and London.

The GANNI x Ace & Tate sunglasses collaboration will be available in select GANNI and Ace & Tate stores across Europe and the US, as well as on GANNI.com and aceandtate.com. The collection is set to launch on 7 June in Europe and 14 June 2023 in the US.


The GANNI x Ace & Tate sunglasses collection will be priced from £185 for the Twiggy and Xena to £210 for the Trixie, with options available in Burgundy, Matcha Green, Havana Brown, and an exclusive Bubblegum Pink colorway for GANNI only.
