LITTLEMISS.mon’s Cultural Reset on Gowns with Oriental Pieces in their Latest Collection
LITTLEMISS.mon is a Ready-to-wear womenswear designer brand founded in November 2022 at Yangon, Myanmar. The brand’s inspiration & designs derived from bringing out the specialty & uniqueness of their customers by creating pieces which focus on silhouettes, volumes and small details.

Creative Director & founder of the brand, Miss Lilly Oo believes the brand’s minimalism will allow the wearer’s personality & identity to reflect more on the garment by seeing how they would style it. “Just like a painter with a clean canvas.”
LITTLEMISS.mon is keen on making customers feel ‘Every purchase is a Limited-Edition’. As the fashion industry thrives to promote sustainability and ethical practices, the brand aims to approach this issue in a different light. The brand produce limited amount of pieces for every design and will not release each design more than once; following the rule of first come, first serve. By doing this so, the brand does not support mass production and poor labor. At the same time, the customers are also purchasing limited-edition for every design, making every purchase meaningful.

BATCH 0004 collection is LITTLEMISS.mon’s latest release, inspired by a fusion of East-Asian beautiful culture. This collection is embedded with history, culture and contemporary. Blurring the lines between cultural-appropriation and culture-appreciation, Lilly made a decision to create oriental-gowns that resembles a silhouette of a flower-bud. Her core inspiration for the silhouette of this collection derived from Burmese traditional-wear known as ‘Bagan Trousers’.
To make it comfortable and convenient for the wearers, Lilly combined this culture-embedded collection with a hint of contemporary. The pastel color flower-bud shaped dresses have two big pockets on the sides, making the designs more unique.
“I have this experience of carrying a ridiculously small fancy purse or bag, whenever I am wearing a gown at events that won’t even fit my phone. I feel anxious when all my stuffs are out in the open because I’m afraid I might leave it somewhere. I’ve always wished the dress I am wearing had a big pocket somewhere so that I could just slide stuffs in. “An evening gown with big pockets would be nice”, I thought. So, I just got playful with that idea for BATCH 0004.”, says Lilly

LITTLEMISS.mon currently ships to United Kingdom, Thailand, Singapore and Korea and aiming to go global in the near future.
