Why is having a watch important?

There are many reasons you should be wearing a watch, also many different occasions when you should be wearing a watch, for example You wouldn't wear the watch that you wear when you go to the pub with your mates when you go on a date with your partner. It's all about getting the style right too. You should have 2 to 3 options for each occasion so you can get the best match for your attire.

One of the most important reasons for having a watch is simply to show a true gentleman quality. No one wants someone sitting next to them or across from them who keeps checking their phone for the time, a watch makes it easier and definitely more stylish.

Whats hot and whats not?

When it comes to selecting your watch you need to pick one that suits your personality, there is no point getting a plain looking watch when your a bubbly person, let people know what your like through your watch, when you shake someones hand they will see the watch, this could be a conversation starter so make sure it's representing you.

The most popular type of watches are the 'sophisticated' looking ones, these ones often are silver or gold plain looking with fancy numbers and thing clock hands, which is fine. This is for the business man, for the traditional and sometimes modern gentlemen but this is for someone who is also on adventures, trekking or running.

When it comes down to 'Whats hot and What's not', there is no definitive answer. Socially there could be one yes but never let other people determine what you wear or who you are. Express yourself through your clothing and express yourself through your watch.
